Important Safety Information: Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series 8-Ounce Blending Bowls, 20-Ounce Blending Cups & Blade Bases. 

On Thursday, 06/20/24, Vitamix and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada jointly issued a voluntary product recall for the Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series 8-Ounce Blending Bowls, 20-Ounce Blending Cups & Blade Bases. Please take the time to carefully review the following details with your team.

Recall Overview

This recall is being conducted because the containers may separate from the blade base, exposing the blades to consumers and creating a laceration hazard.

This recall is for the Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series 8-Ounce Blending Bowls, 20-Ounce Blending Cups & Blade Bases. The following Vitamix® Ascent® products were sold at Crate and Barrel in the U.S. from April 2017 through May 2024 under the following SKUs:

- Ascent Blending Bowls Accessories (242-544)

- Ascent Blending Cup Accessory (242-514)

- Ascent Series Blending Cup & Bowl Starter Kit (126-354)

Customer Action

Customers should stop using the Vitamix® Ascent® and Venturist® Series 8-Ounce Blending Bowls, 20-Ounce Blending Cups & Blade Bases immediately.
