The Character of
Natural Wood

Our Terra collection was designed in house
to showcase the beauty and unique nature
of European white oak. Natural cracking will
appear over time as the wood expands and
contracts throughout the year. Mirroring
the ebb and flow of life in the forest, each
piece of solid white oak showcases rich
tonal variations and fascinating fissures that
reflect the expansion and contraction of the
wood over time. Especially prized are the
knots—the jewels of hardwood—that reveal
where dead branches became embedded in
new growth. A tree’s unique story is lovingly
told in each table with one-of-a-kind cracks,
marks and grain that are integral to Terra’s
authentic farmhouse style.
