Ingredients
- For Tahini Dressing
- â…“ cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2–4 tablespoons water
- Salt, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper or ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- Broccolini Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 lemon, cut in half
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- ½ to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- ¼ cup water
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- For the dressing, combine the tahini, lemon juice, olive oil and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add water and continue to mix until dressing is pourable. Season with salt and Aleppo pepper. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add broccolini and lemon halves and sauté until everything has a nice char, 6–8 minutes. Add garlic and crushed red pepper and sauté for another minute.
- Add water, cover pan and steam until water is nearly evaporated. Remove from heat and carefully squeeze the lemon over the broccolini.
- Place broccolini on serving platter or plate and drizzle with tahini dressing. Season with salt and pepper.
