Griddles and Grill Pans: Griddles and grill pans are perfect for preparing your favorite grilled or baked foods, including burgers, eggs and pancakes, inside and on the stovetop.
Cookware Sets: In addition to our individual cookware pieces, we also have a variety of cookware sets. Choose from 2-, 5-, 7-, 10-, 12- and 14-piece sets.
Cookware Materials
Some dishes are best prepared in cookware of specific materials. We have the materials you need, including:
Nonstick Cookware: Non-stick is a classic cookware option for no-fat cooking and ease of clean-up. Non-stick cookware is best when used with low to medium heat. Some nonstick is oven-safe (check specific brands for temperature ratings). Nonstick surfaces require use with nylon, silicone or wooden utensils to look and perform their best.
Ceramic Non-Stick Cookware: Ceramic cookware continues to grow in popularity. Our exclusive ZWILLING Vista Clad Cookware Collection and CeraComm frypans have a traditional ceramic nonstick coating. All are free of PTFE and PFOA. Because they require little to no oils or fat during cooking, ceramic interior coatings are a healthy option. Ceramic cookware is oven-safe on low to medium heat. When considering non-stick ceramic pots and pans, be sure to explore the bright colors of Caraway cookware as well.
Stainless Steel Cookware: Crate & Barrel carries several lines of stainless steel cookware in a range of price points. Extremely durable, smooth and scratch-resistant, stainless steel finishes will not corrode or permanently tarnish. They are also resistant to wear and are non-reactive to acidic foods. Many of our stainless steel pieces have a magnetic steel exterior that can be used on induction stovetops.
Cast Iron Cookware: As a type of cookware used for generations, cast iron cookware can go from the stovetop and oven to the grill and even a campfire. Cast iron cookware can either be pure or enameled. Pure cast iron is also known as "bare" since there is nothing between the metal and the food. In fact, cast iron can transmit iron particles into foods for an added health benefit. Crate & Barrel carries Lodge cast iron cookware which comes pre-seasoned and is made in the USA. Cast iron is ideal for long slow cooking and braising, as well as searing and frying. It is safe on all heat sources, including induction.
Enameled Cast Iron Cookware: Enameled cast iron cookware is coated in porcelain enamel, giving the benefits of cast iron without the need for seasoning or reseasoning. It is a particularly great option for a Dutch (or French) oven; enameled cast iron is an excellent conductor of heat that absorbs heat slowly and evenly while retaining the proper temperature. Due to its nonporous finish, enameled cast iron can be used with acidic foods and liquids. Enameled cast iron pieces are available in bright colors and glossy finishes that look great from oven to table. What's more? Enameled cookware is also easy to clean and resistant to rust.
Copper Cookware: A great heat conductor, copper cookware can heat up or cool down rapidly, providing perfect control of the temperature of the cooking surface. Copper is an ideal choice for pastry chefs melting down sugar for caramels and jams, and also works well for general sauteing or searing of meats.
Because our cookware dishes and pans are constructed of these high-quality materials, they are designed to last for years of use in your kitchen. Shop our entire selection of cookware from top brands, including Calphalon, Le Creuset, SMEG cookware, All-Clad, Zwilling J.A. Henckels, Lodge, Cuisinart, Nordic Ware, USA Pan and our exclusive cookware collection from The Kitchen by Crate. Looking to equip your kitchen with high-end tools at the low end of your budget?
