Straws for Hot and Cold Drinks

For children and adults alike, drinking beverages with straws adds a little extra enjoyment to the drink, while at the same time keeping harsher liquids like coffee and tea from staining the teeth. When sipping smoothies, iced coffee or even hot beverages, try dishwasher-safe stainless steel straws or colorful reusable straws. If you plan on hand-washing, try a straw brush for convenient cleanup. Planning a party with summer cocktails or kids' drinks? Either way, step up your beverage display with paper or reusable straws in festive colors. If your party is outdoors, consider using acrylic glasses for margaritas, mojitos or mai tais. To spend more time enjoying your company and less time as a bartender, make batched drinks in advance for serving in a pitcher or dispenser. Then, set straws in a separate glass nearby for guests' convenience. A variety or colors has the added benefit of helping guests keep track of their drink.
