Digital Thermometers for Your Kitchen
Use a digital thermometer to make sure your burgers, chicken, steaks and other proteins are perfectly cooked. To take the temperature, simply insert the digital thermometer into the middle of the food. Fresh steaks should be cooked to at least 145 degrees Fahrenheit; ground beef and chicken both need to be cooked to 165 degrees. Once your food is cooked thoroughly, grab your tongs and take the meat off the grill or out of the oven, and let rest before slicing on the cutting board. Then for a stunning presentation, place the entrée on a round serving platter. Keep your arsenal within reach by storing your spatula, salad servers, basting brush and digital thermometer in a canister near the oven.
